Younger students are placed in class by age until around 4th grade. As students get older placement is determined by ability, attitude and attendance. Level changes will be determined on an individual basis by the instructor. Art of Motion’s curriculum is designed to build your dancer’s technical skills one level at a time — mastering the required skills of one level then advancing to new challenges in the next.

Summer Schedule is an abbreviated version of our Fall Schedule. The ages and levels combined in June and July are not necessarily combined in Fall. Students are still placed in class by age until around 4th grade. Older intermediate/advanced students (twice a week Ballet ) attend classes together. Continuing dance through the Summer is important to maintain strength and flexibility. Dancers will be evaluated for possible level changes in August. Art of Motion’s curriculum is designed to build your dancer’s technical skills one level at a time — mastering the required skills of one level then advancing to new challenges in the next.
